Up till now, GEA Grasso UAB has participated in variety of projects. It has provided refrigeration equipment not only in food industry factories, such as slaughterhouses, poultries, breweries, dairies, banana ripening, fish processing and ice cream factories, but also in mining and chemical industry, cold stores and ice rinks. In our projects we use production of different suppliers starting with GEA Grasso, Bitzer, Frascold, GEA Küba, Goedhart, Güntner, Baltimore Aircoil, Evapco and finishing with Danfoss, AWP, Hermetic, GEA Ecoflex, Alfa-Laval. We prefer using NH3 more often than HFC in our refrigeration systems .
GEA Grasso UAB is known not only in Lithuanian market. We sell Grasso production to our customers in Latvia, Belarus and Kaliningrad district (Russian Federation). Currently, we are strengthening our position in Belarusian market - in 2008 we established GEA Grasso UAB Representative office in Minsk, Belarus.
GEA Grasso UAB employs 30 people and each of them is attributed to one of 7 departments: contracting, engineering and project execution, service, supply, controls, components sales, and administration. Each department does its own contribution to the welfare of our company. In order to satisfy our customers needs, there are two branch offices in other Lithuanian towns and the representative in Latvian Republic alongside the main office and the stock warehouse in the capital of Lithuania. In spite of slight changes in staff, the core personnel have been working since the first steps of GEA Grasso UAB activities.
GEA Grasso UAB is a strong team not only at work. As a team-building activity, annual basketball and bowling tournaments for the staff are being organized. What is more, every spring and autumn we arrange company’s events in nature surroundings. Recent years we have been canoeing and camping. It has also become our tradition to make Christmas parties for our employees and their family members, to celebrate birthdays and other personal occasions. It is a good possibility to be together in an informal environment and to get to know each other better.
